Amir Khan & Manny Pacquiao Boxing Event

Amir Khan will be flying over to join Manny Pacquiao in camp for 3+ weeks as the Phillipine idol puts together his preparations for the impending showdown with Antonio Margarito. Khan, who is set to fight Marcos Maidana on December the 11th in a WBA mandatory defence will be relishing working with Pacquiao - however Khan has ruled out ever fighting his stablemate.

"As for fighting Pacquiao in the future, I can't really see that happening," said Khan.

"I'm sure by the time I get to that level he will be calling it a day. We train in the same camp and I've got too much respect for Manny to fight him."

Roach, who trains both of the fighters has said that Khan is faster than Pacquiao, but they are on two different levels right now. Khan has also been linked to a possible showdown with Floyd Mayweather according to reports of Golden Boy's Richard Schaefer declaring that if Amir defeats Maidana as expected, he could press for a Mayweather match-up in the spring of 2011.
